A Veteran broadcaster by the name of Jim McKay died of natural causes at his home at the age of 86. Jim McKay was the iconic host of twelve Olympic Games and host of the ABC’s Wide World of Sports for more than 40 years. McKay earned a total of 13 Emmy Awards, and was the first sportscaster to be honored with the award.
